Nielson Family Reunion 2014 Mt. Hood

Hiking on the hood.  Ha ha ha.  We were excited for day one.  

This is were we hiked to.

Brianna water bending as always.   I was disappointed with the lake.  It wasn't very clear though.  After seeing Glaciers lakes it was a disappointment for me.

Meeting Scarlet Aug 19, 2014

The kids love playing with these houses.  

This was the play area.  That way we don't loose any of the small pieces.

 Shane put all of the kids on dad's bike.  They enjoyed sitting on it one last time.

Grandma Time Aug 18th, 2014

 After we arrived at grandma's house the kids wanted to go out and play.  This bee hive is what they found.  It was very active and we had to put the kids inside while Shane took care of it.  We couldn't believe how big it was.  All of us were lucky that no one got stung.

Grandma took us to a movie and when we got out it was very warm.  She wanted to get us ice-cream cones and this is what happened.  She was a really good sport about the big mess.  The sprinkler was brought out and it was all cleaned up.  The kids thought grandma was being silly.

Grandma is really getting wet!  It was a blast to watch.

Multnomah Falls August 16, 2014

We decided to stop and hike the falls on our way to Grandma's house.

It was beautiful but it was very hot out which made it not as much fun to hike.

Ryker and Lauren found this little cave and they wanted to get their picture taken in it.

Ryker might have out grown his hate for getting his picture taken.  Isn't he cute!

Waterfalls are so pretty.

Look how red my cheeks are.  It was a great view from the top.

My kids liked this part the most.  Any time they can play in a little stream they are all over it.

Reese wanted help.  She didn't want to get to wet.

These two finding new places to go.  They were on a little island and it took some time to have them come back to us.

We went to the very top.  You can't really see the falls from there but to look out across you get a good view of the hills on the side of the interstate.

One last chance to get wet before we get back into the car.  Lauren was helping Reese get her hands wet.  What a good sister!
