Wedding Day! 08-11-07

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!

My sister is gorgeous!

Steve and Rena cutting their cake.
Grandma holding Lauren at the reception.

Here are the girls of the Broderick wedding party.

Here we are as a family but for some reason we don't have Steve in the Picture so hopefully Rena did or someone else did.

Bri having fun waiting while the pictures were taken.

Paige is now having fun scaring me that she is going to fall into the flowers. Both of my girls are cute HUH!

Steve and Rena as they walk out of the Temple.

Here they are waiting for they to come out of the temple.
Here is Rena with all of the nieces and her own daughter. Unfortunately I didn't get one with me out of the picture.
The threesome starts now. Don't they look great!

Steve is now my brother and we are so happy to have him in our family! The wedding day started out with us all getting up really early. Especially Rena because she needed to get her hair done. We all needed to be at the temple at 8:30 because I was her escort and Shane was a witness. So- since Rena was gone to get her hair done I was in charge of getting the girls up and ready for the wedding. That means getting their hair done plus mine! Well- I practiced on the girls before to see how long it would take me but I still didn't get it all done. I was stressed out. Plus I didn't even get my own hair done! The girls were being watched by my mom and a babysitter. Luckily for me Rena told me that the babysitter was really good with hair. So- when the time ran out and the girls were not ready I packed up all the hair stuff and brought it with me. The babysitter did a great job finishing the hair. I also made all the girls their dresses and that was a stress but I was able to finish them all by myself and that made me feel that I was able to contribute to my sisters wedding since I live so far away. It was hard to not be a big part in planning but I was very happy that I could make the dresses and be her escort. Thanks for that!!!
Well- I think that is enough pictures. Do you feel like you were there?

IF Zoo 08-10-07

While we were there in IF we met up with some of our friends and decided that the kids would enjoy seeing the zoo. It had been a long time since Shane had gone and he was impressed at the things that they have incorporated. After the zoo we went out to lunch and then drove over to the house that they are planning on buying in Ammon. These are some of our friends from here and they are moving. We are going to miss them terribly. Especially, Brianna because it is her best friend (Jessica- the blond on that you see in all the previous friend pictures.)

My Sis 08-08-07

Don't you love my sisters wedding shoes! yes- these are the ones she is wearing under her wedding dress! Funny huh. She wanted something to give her hight and still be comfortable. Steve is tall and she didn't want to be way to short for pictures to turn out ok.

For Paige's birthday she got a bubble machine which blows up to 4,000 bubbles a minute. (I think it does!) Anyway the girls had fun with that until I got out the slip-n-slide. Which ended up being upsetting. I got it all out and filled up the end with water and then went to screw on the hose so the sprinkler part would go and they had made this slip-n-slide without attaching the part where you screw on the hose. I was so mad. I asked Shane if I was missing something and we both agreed that it was not all there. So- the girls just ran down it and slid while I kept getting it wet. Brianna liked it that way because she didn't get as cold. Paige tried to do it and fell and got her face wet the first time and decided that it wasn't fun. After that use I went back and returned it and tried to find another one but they didn't have any and no one else did either. Don't you hate how the store seasons are so different then they are in real life! Gurr! I was MAD.

Paige turns 3 07-27-07

Grandma and Papa gave her some money in her card and she felt so special and wanted to put it in her piggy bank. Thanks!
Here's the family and Look at Paige and her cheezy smile.

Paige turns 3! Wow time sure does go fast. We just got back from IF and I forgot to take the camera. We went to give Aunt Rena a bridal shower and then we had a birthday party for Paige. It was fun to spend some time with them. We did do a lot for the wedding coming up and we kept busy the girls just wanted to hang out with Maddie at her house because she has so many toys and they were sick of running around to different stores.
So when we got back home daddy had taken the day off and we spent time together. Paige opened her presents (polly pockets were her favorite) and they played and played all day.

Seeing the Sites 07-15-07

Vancouver fun 07-13-07

Heath's family came up to visit grandma and papa so we headed over to see them. The girls loved seeing their cousins and had a blast in the bouncy house and swimming in the pools. They also had fun pulling out a ton of toys and interacting together. I really wish that we lived closer so the girls could see their cousins. When I grew up I lived within a half hour to almost all of my cousins. We were all really close growing up. It is had living out here away from all of the family. It makes any time spent with family even more special for us. Thanks for having us over.

my girls 07-05-07

Here is a picture of my girls. There isn't any pictures of the fourth because I was sick as a dog. The girls did have fun with daddy when he came home from work. Yes- that's right he has to work on holidays. Aren't my girls beautiful!

Swim lesson -7-02-07

This was Brianna's first time with swim lessons. She was very excited about doing it this year we had tried to sign her up previous years but she would just flip out so I was happy when she said that she did want to do it this year. Once we got there she didn't know if she did want to do it or not. But- by the end of the first lesson she was really happy that she got the chance to learn. On the first lesson her teacher had them all go off the diving board. I thought that she was nuts at first because none of these kids know how to swim at ALL. Brianna looked nervous but when she got done she was very proud of herself and told everyone that she went off the diving board. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera ready so I missed it. :(

Sunday at Reunion 06-017-07

Happy fathers day to you Dad'sWe got papa a book that he said he wanted for father's day. Shane actually did all the work of finding it on the Internet because it's out of print. The girls enjoyed seeing Papa wearing the tie they helped made for him for father's day.
Here are all the Fathers in our family wearing their ties. What a handsome group!
Here we all are. You'll need to click on the picture so you can see all of us. We're really lucky to have a family that loves each other. I'm glad that we are able to get to know each other and visit on a yearly bases.
For father's day we got dad a softball glove and we laminated one of his D&D maps. We really appreciate all that you do for us. Thanks Daddy!

Family Reunion 06-15-07

Paige and Brianna had a blast riding the three wheeler with their dad. I do think that Shane had more fun giving us all rides though! He still is just a little boy at heart.
Here is Tanner and Clark. Clark was very sick most of the reunion so he often didn't have any clothes on him because he kept throwing up. By the middle of the reunion Tanner was also sick. We all felt terrible for them and prayed that they wouldn't be throwing up on the plane ride back home.

Here is my cute family at the campfire singing songs. Thy made us a great book with a ton of campfire songs. Thanks. Chris lead us in the singing of songs.

This was the first day of the family reunion. When we first got to Perry we had to set up camp. We put up the tents and then we put up our new $15.00 canopy which was worth every penny. The three wheeler was a BIG hit, we had campfire songs and skits and plenty of time to sit around and talk.
