FHE = FUN 01-28-08

Here is a picture of the girls on their bench in the fort in the day time and again Brianna at night we did some work on it. Unfortunately the snow wasn't good pack snow because it had gotten to cold.
Here is the CUTEST family in the world!
This is our luge. It is a blast to go down. Not such a great picture though.

Here are some pics of our FHE in our OWN winter wonderland. The kids are having so much fun. I have to say that we are also!
Here our our girls on their snow mountain in our back yard. This is just a very small portion of snow in the back. They love to climb it.Shane took the girls down our luge. They all enjoy it.

Here is Shane attempting to get on the sled to go down our hill. He fell backwards a few times. I now wish that I had my camera on video. You'll just have to trust me that it was hilarious.
I thought that I would put this picture in because there are very few pictures of me since I'm always the one taking them.
In our back yard we have made stairs up our hill, we have a good size fort, a luge so the kids can go down and not fall off because their are walls of snow on both sides, and a maze that the kids can hide in. We really have had a good time this week. I love this picture of Lauren.

Fantasic View 01-28-08

When I woke up and opened up my living room window I found this. I just had to share it with you. ENJOY!

Crawling 01-27-08

Lauren is so close to crawling. She is lifting herself up and getting on her tippy toes and pushing . Unfortunately for her she is pushing backwards which only gets her even more upset.

Snow Storm 01-27-08

Here are the girls out working really hard with their dad! NOT. They were way to excited to work.
Here is the front of our house and the piles of snow. They don't look very big here, but if you look at Brianna the one drift is up to Bri's shoulders. We even have more now.
Here we have Paige and the snow is way above her head. She thinks it is cool because she can open the mailbox. Normally she can't. It's all of the snow under her.

We had a big snow storm hit our little town this weekend. We totaled 19 inches in about 28 hours. To say the least we were so EXCITED! There was a tree in the front and back that had some broken limbs which we had to take care of. Church ended up being canceled which was Shane's and the girls first. Brianna prayed that we would get a big storm and her prayers were answered. They spent most of the day outside with dad trying to shovel it up.

Dad's Basketball 01-22-08

Shane decided that Lauren would be fun to take to Basketball. She almost fits in his bag!

Lauren Says Dada 01-21-08

Right before I started to video this she was saying dada a ton. It was way past bedtime and she just wouldn't go to sleep. I think that she is going to be my night owl. We thought that you might enjoy hearing her talk. By the way she did say dada first. She is the first one to do that.

Visiting Friends 01-19-08

Brianna and Ali being silly .
Paige, Lauren, and Aubry getting ready to play a game. Shane is reading a newspaper which can take him hours since we don't get one. (We never will because of that!)
Camden riding his big wheel up and down the hall and kitchen. The kids all thought this was a fun thing to do. Below is their newest addition she is two months older then Lauren. Her name is Kaylyn. She is walking and keeping them all on their toes. Lauren watched her walk around and when we got home she was very unsatisfied that she wasn't mobile. Since them she is really trying. In fact today she lifted her self up and stood holding on the mega saucer.
Since we have called this little town our home we have seen many of our friends come and go. Luckily for us some of our friends still live close enough for us to visit. This weekend we were able to go and visit the Garza family. The girls look forward to visiting them every time. This weekend we were able to go to their new home. It was fun to see them and there excitement of their new purchase.
Every time we see them the boys get to go and do something while the girls say with the kids this time we decided that it was our turn. We went out for dinner and saw 27 dresses. I thought it was a very funny movie but wouldn't own it because of the language. Next time the boys will be able to go out golfing our to a movie. After the kids were in bed we would play games. My favorite game is Sequence. We always play girls against boys. The girls almost always win. The only time I can recall the boys winning was when Stephanie and I were both pregnant. (Our brains didn't quite work that night!)
We enjoy seeing them and look forward to seeing them again soon. The girls have been asking when we are going to see them since the day we left!

Ball popper 01-06-08

Santa gave Lauren a ball popper for Christmas and it was a huge hit with all the girls. The balls come flying out and the older girls think it is funny. Brianna is keeping her hand over it so they don't go flying. When they do go flying the girls scream with joy.

Shots 12-31-07

Today she got shots. She was a little trooper. Lauren hasn't really had any reactions to any of them. THANK GOODNESS!

Asleep 12-26-07

Lauren is just tuckered out! She doesn't normally just fall asleep. The sad thing is that I tried to get her asleep for about a half hour. She kept fighting it so I just put her down and said that I would try again later. Well- this is what I found when I came back a few minutes later. She was dead out!
