Christmas Day 12-25-07

The girls enjoyed all the toys and clothes they got for Christmas. On Christmas Eve we e-mailed Santa and he e-mailed them back. We also tracked Santa as he traveled the world. The girls had to go to bed when Santa hit Florida. Brianna wanted us to wake her up when he got closer. We told her that we couldn't because we had to be in bed so he would come. We had a lot of fun this year with Santa. The girls left Santa some cookies and carrots for the reindeer. Paige had to make sure that the carrots were good enough for the reindeer so she bit some off to taste it. Brianna had Santa sign a note that was left for him saying that he got the cookies. She was very happy that he signed it!!

It has been a VERY LONG MORNING!
We had a nice dinner and the kids loved using the Christmas china.
Christmas day was very laid back. We all had fun and enjoyed the time together. This year however the girls did get a tad grumpy with one another. I could have done without that!

Christmas Eve 12-24-07

They got their Christmas Eve present. This year the older two got warm robes. They enjoy them especially Bri.

Gingerbread House 12-22-07

Grandma Nielson gave us a kit to put together a gingerbread house. Here it is! Each girl had their own side. I had a hard time just letting them do it themselves but knew that they would have fun doing it themselves and every time they looked at it they could be proud of what they did. After Christmas they did eat most of the candy off of it. Gross HUH!

Christmas Tree 12-02-07

We put up our tree. The girls enjoy hearing where we got most of the ornaments.

Friend Party 12-01-07

She had friends over and we had a fun time. They learned how to hula, played limbo which ended up being the best game of the party, we also made coconuts out of melted chocolate and then you dip a water balloon in the chocolate and sprinkle coconut on the outside. Then let the chocolate cool and then fill with ice cream. The kids had fun and Bri loved having her friends come and party with her.

Package arrives 11-28-07

Another Barbie! She loves it.
They both loved this one and played together until bedtime.

Grandma Park, Aunt Rena, Uncle Steve and Maddie's package arrives for Brianna's Birthday. She is loving this getting presents for a week think. Plus it gives her time to play with each present for a few days before getting something new.

Birthday girl 11-26-07

THE BIG SIX!Shane came home from work and brought Brianna some flowers for her birthday. He gave them to her and I said that I wanted a picture. So- they posed for one. Then she said that I could have my flowers. I told her that they were for her her and she couldn't believe it. Her very first flowers. I think that she will always remember that her dad gave her flowers.

This year she is having a luau party so I made some decorations. You can see more of them in the next blog. She gets the special plate and got to pick dinner. It was white shell noodles, beans, and fruit.

She really wanted Barbie's for her birthday so she got one more and was very excited about it. Can you tell?

Celebrate! 11-23-07

Grandma planned a birthday party for all of the grandkids where they all got a present. What a thoughtful grandpa. We love YOU!!
Grandpa and Grandma gave Brianna a Barbie horse and Barbie. She loves it and will not let any one else touch it. It makes her smile ever time she plays with it.

They got to decorate there own cupcakes. Clark cried when we sang happy birthday to them.

While we were at grandma and grandpa's we were able to celebrate two birthdays. Brianna which was turning 6 in a few days and Clark was going to be 2 a few days after her. It was nice to have some family around for her birthday. Since her birthday is in the winter she doesn't get to have a lot of family around to help her party!!!!

Playing 11-23-07

Lauren loved her little toys. Everything it good in her world.

There is always fun to be had when lots of cousins are around. The kids love the play house that took some convincing to get out. But- it was well worth the work.
These three girls were cute together. They all sat on this chair and Alica pretended to read jokes to them.

Thanksgiving Day 11-22-07

After dinner the kids put together some treats that formed little turkeys. It was fun to see each kid express there own style. I think that one think that they enjoyed the most was making a mess!!!!!!!!!



Later that day I caught my girls sitting together playing a game. It was cute.

Thankgiving Dinner 11-22-07

This year we were able to get together with Shane's family and have Thanksgiving. We did miss Taryn though! Mom made a great dinner and Cherylyn did a awesome job on the rolls and apple pie! Thanks for all the hard work. We were happy that we could join you even if it was just for four days including traveling. The girls loved seeing their cousins and goofing around with them.

Dad's hat 11-20-07

Dad loves to put his hat on Lauren's head when he comes home from work. Doesn't she look good!
