Bri's favorite day- Rodeo Day!!!

In the morning there is a parade which includes tons of horses and the clowns. But the best part is the stuff that every one is throwing CANDY! The girls just love that they get bags full of their favorite thing SUGAR! Hey we don't mind some of it either. :) After the parade we have the day to get ready for the night time rodeo. We bar-b-q dinner or get take out. I think that this year we had McDonalds and ate it outside. Then off we go the the anticipated night of the year. RODEO TIME!!!

Before the rodeo starts you get a chance to go up to the horses and the bulls. Brianna noticed this year the branding they do on them and asked some questions. I don't think she understood fully why they do this. Paige had wide eyes this year, last year she was too little to enjoy it.

When I married Shane I dont' think that he would have ever gone to a Rodeo with me but I think he enjoyes watching it and seeing the excitement in his girls. We all have fun and enjoy spending time with each other. Plus the girls are dead asleep before we even hit the road. What a long day. Brianna is already asking when the rodeo is coming again. She's so cute.

Visiting Family

The girls are getting food for the goats. They had fun watching them eat.

The bunny was so soft. It was hard to keep the girls away from it. We had to go visit. All of them wanted to hold it we just that it would be better if Aunt Rena did it. Bunnys have very sharp nails.

Maddie is a big help with Paige. Brianna and Maddie liked playing horses while we were there. We slept there on the way to the reunion and on the way home. Rena had dinner waiting for us both times. Thanks Sis! Brianna and Paige both cried when it was time to go. The only thing that got them to stop was knowing that we were going to be back this summer.

Fourth of July

To celebrate the 4th we went into the city and watched the fireworks (from our van). Shane didn't want to get to close because then we would be stuck in traffic. We had fun watching the fireworks. The girls both fell asleep before we got back to the freeway. I'm glad that we remembered to get their pj's on before we left!

our home

One of the pleasures of owning a home is getting to mow the lawn. It took him a few hours to do it. You know how Shane is - it has to be perfect and it was the first time he had to use his new lawn mower. He enjoyed every minute including washing it after he was done! :) I love him. This is a picture of our home. Shane got to mow the lawn on 4th of July. yippee! While he did that we played in the sprinkler. Good job daddy (Shane).
