Flower girl 1/10

This is Lauren with a big girl pony tail.  HEE HEE.  She was so excited to have all her hair in one pony tail like her big sisters.  Paige and I made these flower bretts.  Lauren loves the biggest one and she is often found wearing it.  Then one day she wanted to have more flowers in her hair.  I said ok.  These pictures are what we ended up with.  She didn't want to take them out of her hair when it was time to go to bed.  The girls thought she looked like a vase with flowers coming out of it.  We have had fun with the flowers.

Christmas break 12/09

Ryker loves his mobile.  He has gotten big enough that he grabs the toys and is standing up in the crib so we had to lower the mattress.  One night I went in to feed him and he was leaning over the bars ready to fall.  It made me very nervous and he ended sleeping with us the rest of the night.  As for our girls Brianna built a fort for them all to play in.  They played up there for hours and when it was time to clean up they worked together and did it quickly.  It was a great day!!!!

Christmas Morning 12/25/09

We had a great Christmas!  The kids were so excited.  We put the gate up by the bedrooms so the kids couldn't come down and see what Santa had brought them until we could get the camra ready.  Shane is always the last one to get up and the kids were saying hurry daddy!  It was fun to watch.  I had candy all over the kitchen counter.  Brianna said "it doesn't feel like our house it is so awesome in here!"  That made all the work worth it.  The kids received lots of great gifts.  Our family is truely blessed with family and  friends.  For dinner we were invited to our friends house.  We all had fun. Another Christmas over and we all look forward to the next Christmas season.

Christmas PJ'S 12/24/09

So again another year of pj's.  Shane and Lauren got robes.  Lauren also received dora pj's from Paige.  They had gotten to small for Paige and she knew that Lauren would love them.  They all loved them.  Rykers pj's said BIG GUY on them.  We thought that fit perfectly! 

Our happy little mover 12/09

This is just the beginning of his adventure.  The girls thought that Ryker getting up like this was one of the funniest and exciting times ever!  Of course he is now all over the place.  He loves crawling around and has started standing along the furniture.  I'm happy he is starting to move around because he is so much happier.  I have to be very aware of all the toys the girls get out and make sure that the gate is up at the stairs.  He can actually climb up the stairs.  It's a little bit scary though.  These pictures were taken in December. 

OH Christmas Tree12/09

We got a new tree last year after Christmas and we just love it.  The kids enjoyed laying under it and looking at the lights.  It was fun to watch them because I remember doing this when I was little.

Continue of Thanksgiving 11/28/09

Brianna received a cute scripture case and hymn book from grandma and grandpa.  She loves them both.

Shane and I got her her scriptures.  It is fun to see her learn how to use them and look things up just for fun.

While the family was here the little girls enjoyed spending time together.  The play dough was out and they created.  One of the other big hits was Elefun the game.  When the butterflies flew out they would squeal.  It was fun to watch them all play together.

At one point Lauren didn't want to share her barbies and grandpa was the one to help her keep all of her toys safe.  Sorry cousins that she wouldn't share at that moment.  But- way to protect her grandpa!

With all that happened around Thanksgiving we are happy to say that we enjoyed all of it.  It was worth the stress and sleepless nights.  We love you all and can't wait to see you again.
