The reason the kids and I headed down to Idaho Falls right after the Nielson family reunion was to make it to our good friends wedding reception.

Maddie was raising two calves this summer to earn some money. My kids all thought that the cows were very interesting.
Ryker thought this cow was just his size. He couldn't understand why he couldn't stand behind the cows and why he couldn't just sit down on the ground with the cow manure.
For FHE we had a lesson on the 4 season. The activity was playing on the tramp with the sprinkler on. It was fun for the kids to get a little wet and get some of their energy out.
Uncle Steve helped Ryker and Lauren jump on the tramp. This is one of the things they love the most is that he will play with them. Thanks Uncle Steve!

Craft time is a normal when I get together with my sister. Ryker got some wooden cars to paint but he decided to paint his hands. That looks like more fun.
The girls all got bird houses to paint. They turned out great!
On another day we went to a swimming pool. Not very many pictures were taken this day. It was very hot and lot of splashing went on.

After swimming we came home and had a movie night that the kids all set up. It was very comfortable. We made shakes, popcorn and drinks. YUMMY!
On another day wen took the kids to go and see the new movie CARS 2. I thought it was a cute movie but my sister didn't really enjoy it. So- go and see if you like it.
My mom took us all out for dinner at Leo's Place and the kids had a fun in their play land and game room.

While we were there the temple was under construction. They are redoing the landscaping and making it look all new. I can't wait to see what it looks like next summer.
Grandma's pool had a leak in it but the little kids all loved it because it made it shallow and the water was able to get warm. It was hard to keep Ryker out of it. In fact he later came out fully dressed and jumped in. I didn't have any clothes for him to change in so I wasn't a very happy mom.

Magic bubble are always a BIG hit with the little kids. The bubbles are more like plastic and don't pop very fast so the little ones can catch them and play with them.
We played a game of soccer kids vs. adults. It was fun until most of the adults gave up and Maddie hurt her ankle.
We celebrated 4th of July a few days early because of the day it landed on. The kids love to sit in the back of Uncle Steve's truck and watch the fireworks.
Demi didn't like the loud fireworks.
While we were in IF we went to a craft store and the kids loved to try things on and have me take pictures
After going to this store I really wanted to make some of these hats. I'll be looking into doing that sometime after the kids get back into school. The flower on Lauren's hat velcros on so you can make different ones to match different outfits. What a great idea!

There are no pictures of Ryker because he was at grandma's sleeping and Paige wanted to stay with Grandma and talk.

CONGRATULATIONS on your new arrival! I really appreciate your thoughtfulness in letting us know. Hopefully you and baby are doing well.
