New on Coming home 04-21-07

This is my doctor(he is the best). He loved it when I would bring the girls in to my appointments so he could see them. He was my doctor when I had Paige. I will never change as long as we live here!!!!!
The girls wanted to help bring up the car seat and feel like awesome big sisters. I just am so happy to have my body to myself. Lauren was really hurting me and that's why I was induced a week early. I love my doctor!!!

Lauren Renae Nielson is coming home! It feels great to have her out and here with us. The girls are excited and I just can't wait to be home with my family. This was the first one that Shane wasn't able to spend the night with me. Grandma didn't have much of notice so she couldn't get here until Sunday. So- we spent one day with just us. Shane did a ton of driving back and forth. Luckly we had some really great friends that were able to watch Brianna and Paige while I was giving birth. Paige wasn't very good although. We found out after the fact that she had gotten into fingernail polish and spilled it all over bedding and her clothes. She also ate a penny. I felt horrible. The family is really laid back and said they didn't care. I just kept thinking that we owe them BIG time. They were there from 8 am until like 9 pm. Thanks King family!

Shane's 31st birthday 04-17-07

My Texas sheet cake didn't look so good but it did taste nice and sweet. (That's the kind of cake he wanted.) Unfortunatly I put on the glaze when the cake was to hot. I was 9 months pregnant and I had Lauren a few days latter. My brain was on other things! :0
The girls went to the dollar store and got their dad some thing each. They were so happy to give it to him. Brianna gave him a remote car and Paige gave him a Spider man flying disk shooter. Shane got to share his birthday with Brianna's first t-ball practice. It made it a busy day. The girls didn't mind though. Happy birthday honey!

Shane's parents gave him a I-pod. He loves it and has it on ALL the time. Thanks.

First T-ball practice 4-17-07

This is her meeting with her team for the first time. Brianna is the girl in the middle with the long hair and blue jacket.

This year Shane wanted Brianna to try T-ball. It took some convincing but she decided that she would like to give it a go. Once we got to the first practice she didn't know if she had made the right choice. She cried as they ran the bases and was upset because she didn't know what she was doing and thought that every other 5 year old did. It was hard for me to watch her so scared and upset. I didn't know if we were going to make it though the season. But- she got over her fears and started to learn how to play and made friends on her Blue Jay team. By the end of the season she was asking how come they had to stop playing and wanted to know when it was going to start again. I'm glad that I didn't let my emotions get in the way of her learning how to play and do things on her own even when they are hard for her. Thanks for Shane help she has become more independent and is more outgoing.

Easter at Home 04-09-07

We were at our friends house on Easter for their baby blessing. So- when we got home we did the Easter thing on Monday night for FHE. The girls got to find eggs and then Shane and I gave them beach towels because they haven't had one yet and bath robes that we use when they go swimming. They had fun and enjoyed getting presents. Lets face it what kid would say no to candy and presents.

All tangled up 04-08-07

We went to visit some friend and they has a swing outside and well you can see what happened. It took some time to get her hair off but we were successful .
We enjoyed our time with the Garza's.

Potty

Paige used the potty and for the reward she got to go and pick out some new panties. (MY LITTLE PONY) We are so proud of her but unfortunately she is still having a hard time with using it. Hopefully now that our summer is over she will get better at it.

Preschool Easter Party 3-30-07

Every year Bri's preschool has a Easter party. The girls had a blast spending time with friends, doing activities, and of course eating a ton of goodies. The girls did a craft including glitter. It was a Blast. I'm just glad that I didn't have it at my house. : )

They also had face painting. Brianna didn't want to get it done but Paige was very happy to have it on her face and this time she didn't wipe it off as soon as it got put on. Daddy was able to see it when he got home from work latter that night.
They had all the parents bring plastic eggs full of candy and then they hid them outside. They include the siblings and this year Paige was able to do it without a ton of help. Brianna did a good job helping her sister find the eggs. We came home with more eggs then we took. So we are set for next year!
