EASTER 2014

 Here are their easter baskets.  This year they all needed sandals.  They enjoyed them.  

 Reese is trying to put together the puzzle we got her.  She  liked the  picture of minnie mouse.

 We always do an easter egg hunt in our back yard.  Laure found a lot!

 I have no clue what Bri is looking at.

 We let the kids go out in the yard youngest to oldest that way the little ones have a few eggs before the  older ones grab them all.   Ryker is ready to hunt those eggs.

 Paige is a very good at hunting the eggs.  This is one activity the kids all really enjoy once I get out the decorations they hide the eggs around the house for each other.  It is FUN!

We were lucky enough to have grandma come and visit us.  She came to be with us for Lauren's birthday and easter and an early birthday for her.  She had to get home because Taryn was going to visit her at her house for her birthday.

Lauren turned 7!

 This is a special year for Lauren because her birthday landed on EASTER.  Crazy, but fun.

 Always enough hands to help out when it comes to opening presents in this house.

Spring Soccer

 Paige and Brianna both played defense.   They both have gotten to the point that there is a lot of action.

 This was Bri's last year of playing.  She had decided that she would like to try something new.  She is going to try out for track  and see if she likes that more.  Unfortunately there were some girls on her team that were unkind.

 Here is the cutes little cheering team ever!!!  Isn't this what you would want to see on the sidelines if you were out on the field.

 Almost all of Paige's game this year were about an hour away.  That took a tole on us but she really loves to play and has a great team.  There were many, many games that we could't all attend because they were so far apart and would take up our whole day so we would divide and conquer.

Another Year Older!

 As you can tell daddy had to work late on his birthday.  The kids are in their pj's and getting ready for bed.

 We all loved watching him open his presents.  Some of them he even shared.  :)

 Happy Birthday Daddy!!!  This kids love going and getting presents for there dad.

 The kids thought it would be fun to get dad a new lego wii game so he could play with them.

 

There is nothing that tastes better then an ice-cream cake from dairy queen.  His sister (Taryn) got him this shirt and we all thought it was great.  He still gets a kick out of wearing it.

Removing the Maple tree April 5th, 2014

 So, here is my monkey!  Yep.  That is Shane climbing the tree to cut it down.  He got it done in a day.  Good job honey!  He was a little scared when he got up there and wasn't quite sure if he was doing it right.  But, he got the job done!  The tree  needed to come down because we are hoping to add on to the house and there were two trees that had to come out.  I am happy to say that job is done.  It was a big task which took a long time. BUT IT IS DONE!  YEA!

Spring Skiing April 7th, 2014

Here is my skiing crew.  This is on top of the bunny hill.  It was a warm day.  Lauren ended up taking off her coat and was just fine.  I remember taking off my jacket but then putting it back on.  

 This is one of Shane's favorite days.  He loves skiing and then to have all of us up there with him is just icing on the cake.

 Lauren was getting help going down this part of the bunny trail because she didn't have poles to help push her.  Shane could get enough speed to keep them both going.  She looks scared in the picture but she really was having a blast.

Paige really loves going fast down the mountain.  Shane and her are so much alike.

 Bri and Paige on the ski lift.  I don't know how we were able to get this picture but it is cute.

 This is to prove that I really did go.  As much as I don't enjoy skiing I will stay on the bunny hill to make it fun for my hubby.  Because it was spring the snow was mostly slush and some parts were ice.  It made it hard to turn and it wasn't very fun when you hit a big puddle of water.  I did crash once right by the ski lift.  I went to turn and hit the ice and then couldn't turn and then fell right into the puddle.  Oh-  skiing is so much fun.

This is the view from the top of the bunny lift across to the mountains on the other side.  See how the snow is all melted.  It was very warm especially in town.

Sensory Play March 27, 2014

Ryker and Reese had been playing with this most of the afternoon.  When the girls got home from school they wanted to play too.  Who said sensory play was just for little kids. Brianna and her friend had a good time playing with it.  It is just shaving cream on a pan.  This is one of Ryker's favorite things to do.

Band Concert March 18, 2014

Brianna had a band concert.  It sounded great.  She has fun playing her trumpet.  The little kids enjoyed it but it got a little long because they had three different bands play and the strings had a few numbers that they performed.
