Well- another year older. I had a good birthday. The kids all enjoyed going to the dollar store and finding me some presents. But- This had to be the biggest surprise. Shane got me a viola. I told him that he might regret it. It has been 16 years since I have played. I started the viola in 4th grade and stopped in the middle of my senior year. It was fun to hold one again but I don't sound great. :) Practicing will be very necessary. Luckily I remember how to read the music and how to hold the instrument. Now all I need is to find time to practice without the kids wanting to try.
